Collagen peptides are natural type 1 collagen peptides that can be used in such cosmetics applications as skin and body care. In creams, lotions and masks, they add the amino acids that are essential for properly functioning skin cells. This helps maintain the moisture balance in the skin and prevents premature skin aging. In baths, shower gels, shampoos and hair sprays, their film-building properties help achieve a more beautiful complexion and better groomed hair.
